GOVERNMENT OF CANADA INVESTS TO UPGRADE CLUB D’ÂGE D’OR ALIDOR IN ST. -CHARLES
A Government of Canada investment of $9,000 will enable the Club d’Âge d’Or Alidor to transform its existing clubhouse into a safe and fully accessible community facility. Specifically, the funding will be used for interior upgrades, including to the plumbing, electrical and heating systems, to ensure the facility can meet the current and future needs of the community.
Marc Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor, today announced this Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program (CIP 150) funding.
“The Government of Canada’s Community Infrastructure Program is helping to rehabilitate existing community assets, such as Club d’Âge d’Or Alidor, to promote economic, community and cultural benefits in municipalities, First Nations and organizations across the country. Today’s announcement will ensure the residents of St. Charles have access to a modern and energy efficient community facility.”
