The Municipality of St.-Charles is a small northern rural municipality serving a population of 1,294 located on Highway 535 south, between the regional centers of Sudbury and North Bay.
The Municipality of St.-Charles invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Executive Assistant/Corporate Communications Officer.
Reporting to the CAO, this position will assist in the delivery of effective and efficient public services. This individual will also assist the Clerk-Treasurer with legislated duties, training, and serving customers at the Service Ontario Driver’s and Vehicles Issuing Office.
The ideal candidate will have related experience in municipal government administration. Knowledge and exposure to Ontario legislation is an asset for applicants.
The ability to speak, read and write proficiently in both official languages is an asset.
The successful candidate will have either a degree or diploma in business administration or municipal administration. The individual must have organizational skills and be self-motivated.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The municipality offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package.
