In 2011 owners Richard and Violet Witowski from Mississauga purchased Rockport
Camp and Trailer Park. Coming from a big city with much excitement and
dedication, they pursued their dreams by buying a park where people can spend a
wonderful summer vacation. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing excursion on a canoe
or paddle boat, or go boating in the West Arm of Lake Nipissing. There is a
beautiful beach, a water slide, a diving raft, and various species of fish in
the surrounding water (i.e. pike, pickerel, bass). Come on over with your
trailer, or stay in one of the fully equipped cottages, because Rockport Camp
and Trailer Park is the perfect summer vacation spot!

In 1992 owners Gary and Angela Martin purchased Welcome Lodge, which is situated right beside Maskinonje Provincial Park. Ever since, the Martins have been committed to creating and maintaining this important attribute of our area. Mashkinonje attracts visitors wanting to hike and snowshoe, learn about our natural history, and now it even features a new barrier-free trail (i.e. for strollers and wheelchairs). As active members of the charity and non-profit organization Friends of Mashkinonje (created by Angela who serves as President), they continually advocate for the Park’s beauty and importance. Gary and Angela know Mashkinonje and all of its trails inside out, so come on over, stay in one of their cabins, and experience nature at its finest!
